What pet owners say
I have been bringing my pets to this practice for over 40 years and have always had an excellent experience. I consider myself lucky to have a trusted practice caring for my animals.

I have used Gilmore vets for 30 years and I have never been disappointed. I know I can trust them to give my pet the best care. They have always explained any treatment required and shown empathy when treatment no longer is an option, even to the point of sending a sympathy card on the loss of my pet. I highly recommend Gilmore Veterinary Practice.

I honestly cannot reccomend this vets enough! We've taken our pets here for years now after becoming unhappy with our previous vets. Tonight we had to say good-bye to our 12 year old dog Max. The vet and nurses were so lovely and went above and beyond to make such a horrible experience as comfortable as possible for both Max and us as owners. They were such empathetic people that you could tell were massive animal lovers. Although losing a pet is such a heartbreaking life event, they really tried their hardest to make the whole process a little easier. Paw prints and fur clippings were offered for us to have as keepsakes, even going as far as sending them out to us in the post because we dont live locally. They also offered for us to pay in the room rather than at the reception desk in front of the waiting room and then walked us out at the end. We were so impressed with this service and reccomend them to anybody who needs a vet.

I’ve been taking my pets here since moving to the area three years ago. I’ve seen all the vets at different points and have always been really impressed. They give you clear explanations and advice on costs etc. I have felt that they very much act in your pets best interests. For example not recommending surgery for my older cat despite this clearly being a profitable option. Cat recovered well on the advice of Aaron. We lost our dog almost two years ago and he’d declined over the year. Potts and Charlotte were fantastic. Explaining all options but then allowing time to answer questions about everything so I could make informed decisions. When it came time to say goodbye they allowed two of us inside to be with him and let us have as much time as needed. The nurses were all absolutely amazing too. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else now.
