What pet owners say
Brilliant friendly practice, really helpful and reassuring. Just what you need when you are visiting on holiday and your dog suddenly needs a doc. They even contacted the home vet (with permissions etc) to access the notes, very thorough and proffessional. I'd be signing up here if I lived local.

From personal experience I believe Caters to be the best vets in Llandudno. My rescue cat Bridget is so precious I wouldn't dream of taking her anywhere else for her health care. The vets and the whole team are extremely knowledgeable and caring of our furry friends and their parents. Nothing is too much trouble and I can't recommend them highly enough, they are truly excellent. Anyone who takes their pet there DEFINITELY WON'T be disappointed.

I changed to this practice, because the vets I had gone to before, had made me feel I had failed my cat. My cat Bella was 20. And had been diagnosed with kidney failure by the previous vet. I had left a gap of three years, before seeing the previous vet. I left the gap because Bella had seemed ok. Until I made the appointment with the previous vet. It was to do her vaccination booster ( which needed to be started again. Because of the gap ). But also because I did notice Bella then wasn't herself, so much. She had lost 1 kg in weight. Though I was feeding her, every day, twice a day, one pouch of Gourmet each meal. She was eating at that time. When they discovered she had kidney failure, she went onto a renal diet, plus supplement for her kidney. Which she did like and eat for a time. I moved over to Cater vets, at the beginning of Bella's transition to her renal diet. She was seen once by a vet at Cater vets. And both I and Bella were treated with empathy and professionalism. The vet at Cater vets recommended I got a supplement for Bella's arthritis. Which again Bella liked. I added a lick a lick to every meal she had, when she started the renal diet. To give her a treat and encourage her to eat her renal diet. Which she did, until two days before she passed away Bella passed away at home, in the early hours of Friday 13 th of September. Though Bella wasn't in Cater vets care long, ( she was on the renal diet, for about two months ) I appreciate the care that was shown to Bella. Thank you.
