So my poor 17 month old cat Buddy was in a road traffic accident and had a heart attack and sadly passed away. He was picked up by a lovely lady who took him to Axe Valley Vets and I will forever be thankfully. I had Carmel call me to tell me the sad news about my boy and that we could come and say goodbye to him. When we arrived we were told what happened and that he was in no pain and would not have felt anything. We was led to the room and told we could stay as long as we wanted. We spoke to Carmel about cremating our boy and she was so kind and told us there was no rush to decide and she would sit and talk to Buddy until he left the practice. She also let our own vets know and took care of that conversation with them. Well 8 days after Buddy passed away we got the most lovely card with forget me not seeds and it had a beautiful poem inside which brought me to tears. They did so much for my boy and I will forever be grateful and will be moving my other cats to the practice.

The staff on reception are extremely friendly. Made my dog feel at ease. Spent a little bit of time with him which really wasn’t necessary but very appreciated.
